UPDATE!! JAMJORA HAS BEEN CLOSED DUE TO LACK OF FUNDS WE CONTINUE TO SEND WHATEVER SUPPORT DOES COME TO HELP WITH SCHOOL FEES FOR THE HIGHSCHOOL AGED CHILDREN.

We need $500 per month to reopen the home and presently we receive only $200-250 per month The desicion was made by the leaders in Kenya and we had to concur as support just dwindled away to the small amount mentioned above.Please pray for God to supply the needs to reopen this haven of hope!

JAMJORA House is a children's home built and maintained by James Lay Ministries in Kitale, Kenya. We currently have 13 children living in the home, 10 girls and three boys. Ages 9 - 18. The home was built to house 12 children and we now have 13. The Ministry endeavors to provide 3 meals a day, clothing, and an education. We have set a budget goal of 40 dollars per month per child. James Lay Ministries and friends built this home early in 2001. It is constructed of brick with a cement floor and metal roof with steel window and door frames. We built and furnished JAMJORA House at a cost of just over $6,000.

We are happy to announce the completion of the feeding center and have begun to feed the kids there! I really need your help! To feed 70 children is no small chore and requires considerable money! Would you pray and ask the Lord if he would have you become a good Samaritan for these precious children which cannot help themselves? We need some faithful partners who can stand with us on a monthly basis for $25, $50, $100 or any amount the Lord impresses you with. There is great joy in giving to the work of Lord! I am a witness it truly is more blessed to give than receive! Blessings!!!
