March 2010

Hi! Thanks for stopping by,

Thank God Spring is just around the corner! For me not a moment too soon! I love the Spring when the earth starts to bud and bring forth new life! It reminds me of the earthly tabernacle sometimes which has a tendency to want to go a little dormant in Winter and become somewhat unproductive. Many times churches see examples of that in the attendance and excitement which tends to wane. We are blessed to be alive and looking forward to a new season of fruitfulness in the work of the Lord. With all that is happening in the world, I believe it is imperative that we be about the Father's business if we ever plan to be! I would encourage you to not look at your circumstances or situations but look to Jesus for direction and provision. Where God guides he always provides. The key is faith steps in the direction God is leading you. He is the Faithful One! !

I want to invite and encourage you to may plans to be part of our Fall missions tour to East Africa! We will be going during the first two weeks of November. We are planning for a meeting involving all 73 of the churches associated with the ministry there. We have great expectation for an unusual season of the miraculous! We are believing God for a great outpouring of His Spirit upon the land, resulting in a great harvest of souls! Make your plans now to be with us in November!!

The Kids of Jamjora are all doing fine and we give thanks to God for that! God has given us favor to have been part of these wonderful young lives! In closing this letter today I would like to ask you to prayerfully consider supporting this ministry. We have lost much of our ministry support base over past several months, due to the worldwide economic distress, however we have not lost any of our vision for the work in Africa! Even now as I write this letter my heart feels the pangs of homesickness to be there in the harvest fields!I believe you will be sowing into good soil and making an investment in the future of multitudes of people. I don't write to press you or to appear as a beggar. I only follow scripture to let my requests be made known. This is only intended for those with spiritual ears whom the Lord has called to partner with us. Thank you and God bless you!

Write me today and include any prayer concerns you may have at: James Lay P.O. Box 1158 Lake City, TN. 37769

For those of you who may be visiting this site for the first time,I would like to give a brief history of our work. We first traveled to Africa with the late Rev. Wallace Heflin Jr. in 1987. My life was indelibly marked! I returned to Nigeria in 1988. Since that time the Lord has blessed and enabled us to put our feet in more than 30 nations for his glory. In 2001 we opened a children's home in Kitali, Kenya. Where we began to provide care for 13 beautiful children aged 4 -12 years old. In 2005 we built a feeding center for homeless children in Busia,Kenya. Our ministry partners have also built churches, drilled wells, carried medical supplies, and assisted in building classrooms, etc. We have now traveled to Africa more than 20 times and look forward to every visit as if it were the first! We also have ministered here at home the past 30 years with Tent revivals, Camp meetings, conferences, our ministry focus is to encourage the brethren, and equip the saints. I would love to hear from you today, write me won't you?

Blessings

James & Wilma Lay
